Mr. Anwar Rehman is a highly qualified professional. He holds B.A., M.A., LL.B. and D.L.L. education. He completed his last D.L.L. education from University of Punjab (U of P) in First Class/Division, which is one of the best Universities in Pakistan. He is an Associate Member of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) since 2000 and a Member of International Association of Immigration Practitioners (LPI) (Canada) since 2003.
Mr. Rehman holds a Commissioner for Oaths (Alberta) Certificate since 1999 as well as a Commissioner for Oaths (Saskatchewan) Certificate since 2006. He is a Member of AITC (Canada) since 1999 and a member of Canadian Society of Immigration Practitioners (CSIP) since 2006. He is a Member of the British Pakistan Law Council since 2006 and a Life Member of Lahore Bar Association, Pakistan. In addition, he is an attorney of Law (Lahore High Court, Pakistan).
Mr. Rehman has completed several continuing education courses in Alberta including Critical Skills for Communication in Conflict and Alternative Dispute Resolution from Alberta Arbitration & Mediation Society, Modern Office Specialists Certificate from N.A.I.T., and Business Communication and Business Management Courses from Alberta College Edmonton. Moreover, he has taken Private Investigation Course, Legal and Community Interpreting Courses from Alberta Vocational College Edmonton, Modern Office Professional from Campbell & Associates Edmonton, Real Estate and Mortgage Consulting Certificates from Mount Royal College Calgary, and Tax Preparation Course from Liberty Tax School. Mr. Rehman attended numerous one or two days’ seminars and workshops for professional development. He is a Registered Student for “Immigration Procedure” through Universal Class to update his knowledge for U.S. Immigration and will be completed his certification by summer of 2008.
Mr. Rehman is living in Alberta since 1993. He takes pride in building a culture of reliability, efficiency, confidentiality, and honesty in his organization. He has years of experience for Canadian Immigration and Citizenship. From 1993 to 1999, he worked with various immigrant service agencies in Edmonton and Calgary, where he acquired significant knowledge in Immigration and Settlement Services. During that time, while working and supporting his family, he assisted numerous immigrants and refugees, friends and community members with their immigration paper work and translation or interpretation concerns on a volunteer basis. Since 1999 he is working with Active Professionals (A Division of CIBS LTD).
Mr. Rehman is a community minded person. He was the Director of the Martindale Community Association from 2000 to 2003 and has worked with the Calgary Islamic Social Services as a volunteer. He speaks English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi.
